Overview
In our Management Area of Study, you will enhance your critical thinking and communication skills while learning how to lead an organization. In fact, our faculty members here at Hinds have been active in the business sector and have firsthand experiences to prepare our students for business management careers. You will take typical general education coursework but will also take courses in accounting, management, economics, and statistics.
In the field of management, you can pursue various employment opportunities. Exciting jobs include work as a project manager, consultant, retail, or restaurant manager. Most notable for this field is the skills earned in a management program are skills that prepare a student for any role in the workplace! Upon completion of an associate’s degree at Hinds, you will be prepared to lead a business team, but you can also transfer your coursework to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree.
You will be introduced to our general business curriculum that builds the foundation for upper-level marketing experiences upon transfer while completing the general education requirements required for most baccalaureate degrees.
